Sébastien Le Page
Sébastien is a French national who spent over 20 years in the copper industry, first on the floor of the London Metal Exchange, and then for 18 years with Glencore as Copper Metals trader, traveling the world to make deals. Prior to launching Acumet, Sebastien was an investor and advisor in the commodities and mining industry. He has a business degree in financial markets from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d'Amiens, and lives in Zug, Switzerland.
Peter Kalkandis
Peter spent over 18 years at Glencore serving as Commercial Director of Glencore Australia where he developed a global reach across a wide array of commodities and project types. He is a specialist within the mining sector with expertise in complex commercial negotiations, JVs, M&A, logistics, physical trading, and financial modeling. Peter lives in Sydney, Australia.
Sam Dagirmanjian
Sam was a zinc, tin, and lead metals trader for Glencore, spending time based in both Stamford, USA and Zug, Switzerland. There, he was responsible for the negotiation and execution of physical metals contracts worldwide while also managing extensive futures positions on the LME and other major exchanges. He is also an entrepreneur with expertise in digital media, e-commerce, and sustainability and has launched multiple businesses in those fields. Sam graduated from Dartmouth College in 2004 and now lives in upstate New York.
Heini Beretta
Heini has worked in financial services since 1998 with a focus on risk and portfolio management of complex securities. Beginning with Chase Manhattan (later JPMorgan) working with exotic equity derivatives, he managed the treasury for CALFP Bank and traded equities for a privately-held hedge fund before joining the structured credit desk at Calyon. In 2006 he joined GAM multi-manager group in London covering various trading and arbitrage strategies. He also served as Trustee of GAM London Limited’s UK Pension Fund. He is a graduate of the University of Technology in Sydney and holds both Australian and Swiss citizenships. Based in Zürich, Heini participates in deal origination and structuring bankable securities for the firm.
